My first char ...Resetting a 72 prov would hurt. ;)

My first char became a Provisioner too and still is, and I've not regretted it -- the longer-lasting foods and drinks actually last 5 hours and if you're not a bard, the power-recovery benefit from drinks is higher than you'd think. On top of that they now give decent bonuses as well, so it's not so bad.

However, levelling a second provisioner (don't ask) now, I've come to realise that Prov is a massive pain in the ass. Getting two recipes a level must come as a shock to people who did scholar first. Carpenter is much the same, especially at the higher end, as is woodworker, just to make that entire craftsman "tree" a bitch.

Ironically, since Prov and Carp were the first two profs I got to 80, getting the WS to 80 seemed easy in comparison (and not just because of the xp bonus) -- she had at least 5 recipes per level, plus 5 for the imbued version and another 5 for the blessed version of each weapon, which was sheer luxury.Ysharroshttp://stylishcorpse.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-826986957606858027.post-8597676402362575632009-07-06T18:32:13.007-04:002009-07-06T18:32:13.007-04:00Congrats on 80! My dirge is a level 80 jeweler also, and it's always been nice to be able to craft my own skill upgrades as well as (almost) half of my gear upgrades each tier.

I have a level 72 provisioner also, but I found as you did that ti seems more of a pain to craft your own than to buy it from someone else. Yes my provisioner buys food from other provies. But I can't quite bring myself to hit the reset button either -- this toon was created back when you did subcombines, after all. Ton of work to simply "reset away."

Perhaps someday.Magsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05870589034885773525noreply@blogger.com
